BEFORE YOU CHOOSE A GRADE

Is HPMC worth testing for your application?

Start with what you make and what needs to change. These five checks guide a candidate review; they are not verified JNP performance results. Share what you know without disclosing a complete confidential formulation.

01

Match the production setting

Describe the finished product, the intended role of HPMC, process conditions and current reference. Select the relevant application route; the product name alone does not make grades interchangeable across uses.

02

Describe the problem you can observe

Describe the observed issue, when it appears and the result you need. Include the comparison method and test conditions rather than selecting a grade from the symptom alone.

03

Compare the exact specification

Ask for the current specification of the exact commercial grade. Compare viscosity only with its concentration, temperature and test method. Product-name TDS/SDS do not replace grade specifications; file availability and release permission must be checked.

04

Agree on a meaningful sample test

Compare an identified sample batch with your current baseline under recorded conditions. Agree on the result to measure, the measurement time and the acceptance criteria before testing. A promising result in one trial is not a production guarantee.

05

Check whether the purchase can work

Confirm the intended use, destination market, quantity, packaging, sample cost, timing and trade terms. Check the documents required for that purchase separately. A technical match alone does not confirm supply availability or an order.

DOCUMENTS AT THEIR TRUE LEVEL

What can each document support?

Match the product, grade, batch, certificate and market records to the question you need answered. Availability and permission to share are checked separately.

FROM QUESTION TO PURCHASE

One path keeps the technical and buying decisions aligned.

A candidate recommendation begins the evaluation; customer testing and commercial review complete the decision.

01

Define the actual requirement

Record the finished product, process, current issue, target result and destination market.

02

Narrow a testable candidate

Connect the brief to a product-name direction and, when supported, a commercial grade.

03

Confirm the evidence level

Match each product, grade, batch, certificate and market document to the decision it can support.

04

Test and align supply

Use customer testing before confirming specification, quantity, packaging, timing and commercial terms.
