Match the production setting

Describe the formulation system, the role expected of HEC and the relevant mixing or addition steps. Share the current reference if available. Neither the HEC name nor the XHT-6000s series label alone confirms the intended use or exact grade.

Describe the problem you can observe

What do you observe, at what stage, and what would an acceptable result be? State the properties you compare and the measurement conditions. Begin with these details rather than assuming a cause or a particular HEC grade.

Compare the exact specification

Ask for the current specification of the exact commercial grade. Compare viscosity only with its concentration, temperature and test method. Product-name TDS/SDS do not replace grade specifications; file availability and release permission must be checked.

Agree on a meaningful sample test

Compare an identified sample batch with your current baseline under recorded conditions. Agree on the result to measure, the measurement time and the acceptance criteria before testing. A promising result in one trial is not a production guarantee.

Check whether the purchase can work

Confirm the intended use, destination market, quantity, packaging, sample cost, timing and trade terms. Check the documents required for that purchase separately. A technical match alone does not confirm supply availability or an order.
